Our Foundation

The David Folaranmi Foundation (DFF) is a youth led ‘Non-Profit making Organization’ registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Our mission is to transform lives for good through a 3 cardinal project scheme:

1. Drug Abuse Prevention and treatment:

DFF conducts Sensitization programs in schools, villages and even online to create awareness on the causes, dangers and Preventive Measures of drugs. Over 195,000 youths have been reached.

Currently we have a working rehabilitation cite for the treatment of drug addictions here in Enugu (Live Free Rehabilitation Center) with 60 persons treated into freedom from drugs.

2. Our Scholarship Scheme:

With this scholarship scheme, pupils from very poor homes (orphans) and poor communities are sent back to school through DFF fundings.

3. The Food Bank:
This DFF project focuses on catering for the less privileged, orphans and single mothers with gifts like monies, food and Clothings.
In 2022, 20 widows and single mothers benefitted from the 2022 food bank of N200,000 in total. A total amount of N296,840.00 was spent at the FSP Orphanage home for special needs Children.
Our humanitarian services have received heart-warming recommendations and awards from both home and abroad.

Having started in August 2017, we have launched giant strides:

1. The Rehabilitation and Treatment of about 60 drug users (getting them back on foot again).

2. Over 195,000 youths have been reached.

3. 374 pupils sent back to school since inception

4. 315 total beneficiaries from our village medical outreach in 2022/2023.

5. About 174 programs so far has featured the director and his team members, both physically and virtually.

6. 20 widows and single mothers benefitted from the 2022 food bank project with a total of N200,000. N10, 000 for each.

7. A total amount of N296,840.00 was spent at the FSP Orphanage Home for special needs

8. Several local and international media engagements, Certifications and awards from home and abroad.

9. DFF has fostered cordial relationships with relevant stakeholders of the

• National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
• United Nations Office On Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
• Drug Free World
• The Nigerian Police
• The Civil Defense Commission

10. Our Newly Established Live Free Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center is now available with patients currently undergoing treatment at a highly subsidized rate.
